WiseTech Global Limited (ASX:WTC) has announced the appointment of Ms Raelene Murphy as an additional Independent Non-Executive Director, effective 1 January 2026. The appointment forms part of the company’s previously disclosed Board renewal program. Along with joining the Board, Ms Murphy will also become a member of the Audit & Risk Committee.

The company stated that, following this appointment, the WiseTech Board will comprise five independent non-executive directors and two executive directors.

Experience Across Listed Companies

Ms Murphy brings extensive experience as a Non-Executive Director of ASX-listed companies. She currently serves as Independent Non-Executive Director and Audit Committee Chair at Bega Cheese Limited (ASX:BGA) and Tabcorp Holdings Limited (ASX:TAH). Her background includes significant involvement in audit oversight and board-level governance within publicly listed entities.

Her experience as an Audit Committee Chair has been highlighted as a key addition to WiseTech’s Board and committee structure.

Executive and Advisory Background

Beyond board roles, Ms Murphy has more than 35 years of executive experience spanning strategic, financial and operational leadership across both industry and professional advisory roles. In her professional advisory career, she specialised in operational and financial restructuring, including merger and acquisition integration activities.

She was previously a Managing Director at KordaMentha and a Partner at a national accounting firm, where she led the corporate turnaround practice. Her industry experience also includes serving as Chief Executive Officer of the Delta Group, as well as holding senior executive roles within the Mars Group.

Qualifications and Professional Affiliations

Ms Murphy is a Fellow of Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand and a member of Chief Executive Women. Her accounting and governance credentials align with her appointment to the Audit & Risk Committee.

Ongoing Board Renewal Process

WiseTech stated that the appointment is part of a broader Board renewal process aimed at ensuring an appropriate mix of skills and experience among independent directors to support the company’s future requirements. The company also noted that it continues to consider additional director candidates and may appoint one or more further independent non-executive directors in the future.
