This Financial Services Guide (FSG) has been prepared and issued by Kalkine Pty Limited (ABN 34 154 808 312, Australian Financial Services Licence Number 425376) (Kalkine).

This FSG relates to financial services provided by Kalkine and its authorised representative Kalkine Solutions Private Limited (ARBN 622 210 075, AFS Representative Number 001262570) (KSPL). Further details about these services, are set out in the ‘Our services’ section below.

Purpose and content of this Financial Services Guide

This FSG is designed to assist you in deciding whether to use any of the Services provided by Kalkine or KSPL. Please read this FSG in full and ensure that you understand it before using any of the Services.

This FSG describes the financial services offered by Kalkine and KSPL, including through the customer service support centre conducted by KSPL.

Kalkine’s Authorised Representative

Kalkine has appointed KSPL as its authorised representative to provide general financial product advice in relation to the financial products outlined in the ‘Our services’ section below. KSPL is a wholly owned subsidiary of Kalkine. When providing the authorised services, KSPL acts as Kalkine’s authorised representative.

General Advice Warning

The advice given by Kalkine and KSPL and provided on the Kalkine’s website (kalkine.com.au), in our reports and other publications, and through our customer service support centre, is general advice only. This means that it does not take into account your objectives, financial situation or needs. You should therefore consider whether the advice is appropriate to your investment objectives, financial situation and needs before acting upon it.

Our services

The services provided by Kalkine and KSPL described in this section are referred to in this FSG as the “Services”.

Kalkine

Kalkine’s Australian Financial Services Licence authorises it to provide general financial product advice, as well as deal in financial products by arranging for another person to apply for, acquire, vary or dispose of financial products, in relation to specific classes of financial products.

Kalkine is authorised to provide general advice and dealing services to both retail and wholesale clients in relation to the following classes of financial products:

Kalkine and KPSL’s services include undertaking investment research and preparing investment research reports that are available for purchase via subscription.

Apart from the research services, Kalkine and KPSL also provide you with access to its educational webinar services (for an additional fee).

Kalkine acts on its own behalf when it provides financial services.

KSPL

As an authorised representative of Kalkine, KPSL is authorised to provide all of the financials services that Kalkine is authorised to provide, as outlined above.

KSPL acts on behalf of Kalkine (as Kalkine’s authorised representative) when it provides financial services.

How do we get paid?

Kalkine and KSPL

Kalkine charges you a subscription fee when you subscribe to one of our research services. Our subscription fees range from $499 to $11,000 incl. GST per annum, depending on the service you select.

Kalkine’s multi-year and combined subscription packages for different reports may be sold at a discounted price. The subscription fees may change from time to time as a result of ongoing promotional offers.

For the provision of educational webinar services, we charge a registration fee.

Employees and directors

All employees and directors of Kalkine and KSPL receive a salary. Some employees may be eligible to receive performance-based bonuses (which are discretionary) if they meet a pre-set agreed performance indicator. These discretionary bonuses do not depend on the total value or number of financial products recommended to or acquired by our customers.

Neither Kalkine, KSPL, its employees, directors or any other person receives any remuneration, commission or other benefits for referring another person to Kalkine.

What to do if you have a complaint?

If you have a complaint or concern about us, our customer support call centre or our subscription services, please contact us on (02) 90559490 or email [email protected]. We will acknowledge receipt of your complaint within 24 hours or 1 business days and attempt to resolve it within 30 days.

We are a member of the Australian Financial Complaints Authority (AFCA). AFCA is an external dispute resolution scheme that provides fair and independent financial services complaint resolution that is free to consumers. If your complaint is not resolved to your satisfaction, you may refer your dispute to the Australian Financial Complaints Authority (AFCA). There is no charge for this service, and a decision of AFCA is binding on us but not on you.

Professional indemnity insurance

We are covered by professional indemnity insurance that meets the requirements of the Corporations Act and covers the services provided by us / our advisers, our authorised representatives after they cease working with us provided, we notify the insurer of the claim when it arises and this is done within the relevant policy period.

Associations or relationships with issuers which might be capable of influencing our advice

Neither Kalkine nor KSPL has any associations or relationships with issuers of financial products which might reasonably be expected to be capable of influencing Kalkine or KSPL in providing the Services.

Kalkine’s related group entity, Kalkine Media Pty Ltd ABN 84 629 651 672 (Kalkine Media), conducts an investor relations and media business that is separate from Kalkine and KSPL’s business of providing the Services. Kalkine Media may from time to time provides services to, and receive fees from, companies in relation to marketing, publicity and other services provided by Kalkine Media. Kalkine Media and its staff have no involvement in or influence over the Services provided by Kalkine and KPSL. Kalkine has implemented conflict management processes to ensure that any relationships between Kalkine Media and its clients are not capable of influencing the Services provided by Kalkine and KSPL.

The employees and directors of Kalkine, KSPL and their related entities are not permitted to trade in securities that are the subject of our research reports or other publications unless those persons comply with certain procedures.

How do we use your personal information?

Kalkine and KSPL are committed to protecting your privacy. We do not trade, rent or sell your information. Any personal information we collect such as your name, address, phone, and email details are handled in accordance with Privacy laws.
