The decision to proceed with SART construction followed approximately six (6) months of bench scale testing, METSIM modelling, and preliminary engineering completed by BQE Water, and the SART process due diligence visit of plants operated under BQE technical supervision by Hudbay's technical team.

With the detailed engineering design underway, BQE Water and Hudbay are discussing plans for site construction, commissioning, and ongoing technical SART operations support.
