Acurx Pharmaceuticals is a clinical-stage biopharmaceutical company focused on developing antibiotics to treat bacterial infections, with its lead candidate, ibezapolstat, currently in Phase 2b trials for Clostridium difficile infections. The Staten Island, New York-based company also develops ACX-375C, a potential treatment for gram-positive bacteria, including resistant strains like MRSA and VRE.
