Tambourah Metals Ltd (ASX:TMB) is a Western Australian exploration company working on gold and critical mineral projects at Tambourah, Shaw River, Speewah North, and Bryah. The company has also expanded its portfolio to include additional projects in the Pilbara and Bryah regions.
Drilling Program Details
The company conducted a second-phase drilling program at its 100%-owned Beatty Park South project, located 160 km north of Meekatharra, Western Australia. This program targeted extensions of high-grade gold identified during the Phase 1 aircore program, focusing on the area around BPAC016, which previously intersected 6m at 25.8g/t Au from 30m.
The second-phase program included eight slimline RC drill holes covering a total of 785 meters, with an average depth of 98 meters. The holes were positioned immediately east and along strike from BPAC016, testing basement rock to roughly 100 meters. Drilling intersected partly weathered chlorite schists with variable silica alteration and fine disseminated pyrite. All drill holes ended in fresh rock, and no water was encountered.
Significant Intersections
Key results from the second-phase drilling at Beatty Park South include multiple high-grade gold intervals. BPAC028 intersected 24m at 18.8g/t Au from 20m, which included 4m at 92.2g/t Au from 24m and 4m at 14.3g/t Au from 28m. BPAC029 intersected 3m at 3.7g/t Au from 44m, including 1m at 6.4g/t Au. BPAC030 recorded 3m at 6.6g/t Au from 60m, including 1m at 15.2g/t Au from 61m, and an additional 2m at 2.8g/t Au from 67m, including 1m at 4.2g/t Au. These intersections indicate a shallow, high-grade mineralised lens that remains open along strike to the south. Pyritic intervals observed in BPAC029 and BPAC030 suggest a near-vertical dip of the host structure near BPAC016.
Next Steps
Mineralised composite drill samples have been re-submitted for assay as 1-meter intervals. The company plans to complete a first-pass aircore program of approximately 3,000m to outline the full extent of the Beatty Park gold system. Geophysical methods, including IP, will be reviewed to identify zones of alteration and pyrite mineralisation. The geological framework developed from this program will guide a planned 2,000-meter RC drilling campaign, with statutory approvals being progressed.
