Highlights

  • Drilling results show intercepts up to 14.23% HM in MM series program.
  • Mineralisation extends 500 metres beyond current Indicated Resource, still open along strike.
  • Assay data to support Mineral Resource Estimate update and Prefeasibility Study.

McLaren Minerals Limited (ASX:MML) has reported outcomes from its MM Series characterisation drilling at the McLaren Titanium Project in Western Australia. The program formed part of metallurgical studies, with a portion of each drill interval retained for geological characterisation.

Key intercepts above 4% heavy minerals (HM), or greater than 10m, include:

  • MM06: 24m 4.54% HM from surface, with 3m 5.05% HM from 6m and 1.5m @ 9.69% HM from 22.5m.
  • MM07: 13.5m 5.8% HM from surface, including 1.5m 14.23% HM from surface.
  • MM05: 19.5m @ 4.01% HM from surface, including 1.5m @ 5.08% HM from 15m.
  • MM02: 21m @ 3.33% HM from surface, including 2m @ 4.71% HM from 6m.
  • MM01: 12m @ 3.74% HM from surface, including 1.5m @ 4.89% HM from 10.5m.

Resource Growth Potential

The MM series assays confirm that high-grade heavy mineral sands extend to the south of the defined Indicated Resource. Mineralisation has now been mapped around 500 metres past the current southern boundary and remains open, highlighting additional extension potential.

Geological Context

Results from the MM series are consistent with those from the earlier MAC series drilling, further supporting the geological interpretation. Drilling shows the mineralised zones extend in line with the main orebody, with a strike length of about 1,500 metres.

Management Commentary

Simon Finnis, Managing Director, said:
“These latest results from the MM series are very encouraging. Not only do they confirm that the high-grade mineralisation we’ve already identified to the north continues into the southern areas, but they also reinforce the strength and consistency of the McLaren orebody. The fact that we are seeing grades above 5% HM, with some intercepts exceeding 14% HM, demonstrates the quality of this deposit.”

Project Background

The McLaren Titanium Project, located in Western Australia between Norseman and Balladonia, hosts 280 Mt at 4.8% HM.

MML shares were trading 3.85% higher at AUD 0.027 per share at the time of writing on 3 October 2025.
