  • Surface sampling at Elizabeth Hill reveals silver grades up to 920 g/t, sparking fresh exploration momentum.

  • 37 samples show silver grades exceeding 50 g/t, found north and south of the historic mine site.

  • Company plans follow-up trenching, sampling, and drilling to assess potential extensions of mineralisation.

Errawarra Resources Ltd (ASX:ERW) has uncovered high-grade silver mineralisation during surface sampling at its Elizabeth Hill project in Western Australia, with portable XRF (pXRF) readings returning results as high as 920 grams per tonne (g/t) silver.

In an announcement that has stirred excitement within the junior explorer, Errawarra said it collected 37 samples grading over 50 g/t of silver, many of which were found in zones approximately 150 metres south and 300 metres north of the historic Elizabeth Hill silver mine. The standout sample, registering 920 g/t silver.

Target Areas Beyond the Historic Mine

The company noted that the elevated readings were largely taken from iron-rich, gossanous-like float material, often indicative of mineralised extensions. These findings suggest the silver system at Elizabeth Hill could extend well beyond its historically mined boundaries.

“This is an extremely exciting development for the field team,” said Executive Director Bruce Garlick.

“The identification of high-grade silver values in areas north and south of the historic mine presents compelling new targets.
We will now focus further field work in these areas to determine the potential for extensions to the known mineralisation.”

Next Steps in the Field

To follow up on these promising results, Errawarra plans several work programs:

  • Additional surface sampling to refine the mineralisation footprint

  • Metal detector surveys to pinpoint high-grade float material

  • Trenching to expose possible mineralised structures at surface

The current batch of samples has been sent for laboratory analysis, with assay results expected in six to eight weeks. In parallel, Errawarra is gearing up for an upcoming drilling program, expected to commence in the coming weeks. The drill campaign aims to test for subsurface continuity and depth potential in newly identified high-grade zones.
