Highlights

  • Recent drilling at Bull Oak and Havilah deposits identified multiple high-grade gold intercepts.
  • Broad mineralised zones at Bull Oak indicate potential extensions beneath existing Mineral Resources.
  • Six drill rigs are active across Brightstar’s projects, supporting PFS and resource confidence work.

Brightstar Resources Limited (ASX:BTR) released results from reverse circulation (RC) and diamond drilling programs at its Sandstone Hub, covering the Bull Oak and Havilah deposits. The Sandstone Hub currently hosts a Mineral Resource Estimate (MRE) of 2.4Moz @ 1.5g/t Au following the acquisition of Aurumin Limited. Drilling aimed to test beneath existing Mineral Resources to delineate potential extensions to the known mineralisation.

Bull Oak Deposit Drilling Results
At Bull Oak, the deposit holds a current MRE of 90koz @ 1.1g/t Au, constrained by limited drilling below 100m depth. Significant intercepts from the RC program include:

  • BORC25006: 3m @ 31.40g/t Au from 130m, within 157m @ 1.13g/t from 18m.
  • BORC25013: 10m @ 5.83g/t Au from 11m, including 1m @ 16.7g/t, within 73m @ 1.14g/t from 11m.
  • BORC25010: 12m @ 2.01g/t Au from 231m, including 1m @ 14.2g/t, partly within 45m @ 1.00g/t from 8m.

Mineralisation occurs in sheeted, shallowly east-dipping quartz veins hosted by granodiorite intrusions and associated BIF units. Nine RC holes (~2,100m) and three diamond drillholes (~830m) were completed, with assays pending for the diamond holes.

Havilah Deposit Intercepts
Drilling at Havilah targeted down-dip and down-plunge extensions to historically mined quartz veins. Key results include:

  • HVRC25015: 5m @ 12.8g/t Au from 142m, including 1m @ 55.2g/t.

Seventeen RC holes (~3,200m) and two short diamond holes (220m) were drilled. Mineralisation is hosted within dolerite and ultramafic lithologies, including quartz breccia veins with 2–5% pyrite.

Ongoing Programs and Next Steps
Six drill rigs are active across Brightstar’s projects, including four at Sandstone Hub. Workstreams include resource infill drilling and generating material for geotechnical and metallurgical testing to support the Pre-Feasibility Study scheduled for 2026.

At Laverton, underground diamond drilling continues at the Second Fortune mine to assess extensions down dip and along strike. In Menzies, a diamond drill rig has mobilised to Yunndaga for a geotechnical program. Further drilling updates will be provided as results are received.
