· Ending distribution agreement with Philips: Breville Group Ltd (ASX: BRG) stock surged about 1.8% on 15 December 2016 with some positive market sentiment while there have been changes in Director’s interest in the group. Danlar Nominees acquisition of 10,000 shares in BRG also led to an impact. On the other hand, Breville Group reported that their distribution agreement with Philips for Australia and New Zealand would expire on 31 May 2017. But, the group reported that this expiration of the agreement would not have a major impact on their FY2017 earnings result and FY2018 earnings result. However, the group’s Australia and New Zealand business have been under pressure even though the North American business is performing well.

MYR Details
· Discount offers for Christmas: Myer Holdings Ltd (ASX: MYR) stock rose over 2.32% on 15 December 2016 at the back of positive market sentiments. Myer is noted to offer huge discounts to boost their sales during the Christmas period. There are reports that the group is offering discounts of about 30% for wide-ranging clothing brands. On the other side, the group faced legal proceedings last year from a group of shareholders while the writ was filed by Portfolio Law on behalf of Melbourne City Investments. But, Supreme Court of Victoria granted a stay of the proceeding while the group reported that MCI might not be able to proceed against the Company subject to any appeal.
· Recommendation: Myer stock generated over 19.4% in the last four weeks (as of 14 December 2016) driven by upbeat expectations over the possible performance for Christmas season coupled with favorable court proceedings. On the other hand, rising competition remains a concern. We give an “Expensive” recommendation at the current price of - $ 1.32
