· New appointment in management: iSentia Group Ltd.’s (ASX: ISD) stock surged over 7.1% on February 09, 2017. The group reported that they would be releasing their first half of 2017 results on February 27, 2017. Recently, the group appointed Matthew Stanton, as global Chief Executive Officer of premier content marketing agency King Content. Under his leadership, focus would be King Content’s growth across Asia-Pacific, North America and Europe. On the other hand, the group had issued a weak outlook for first half of 2017 EBITDA and forecasted full year revenue and EBITDA growth in the high single digit range for fiscal year of 2017. Content Marketing division which accounts over 7% as of FY16 EBITDA is expected to perform at subdued levels impacted by the decisions with regards to strategy, new business development and client retention for fiscal year of FY17. As a result, the Content Marketing EBITDA is expected to report a loss in the range of $2m in the first half of FY17.
· Recommendation: ISD stock fell over 25.7% in the last three months (as of February 08, 2017) and still trading at a higher level. We give an “Expensive” recommendation on the stock at the current price of - $ 2.70
Vocus Group Ltd
VOC Details
· Bullish momentum ahead of results: Vocus Group Ltd.’s (ASX: VOC) stock rallied over 6.7% on February 09, 2017 ahead of their interim results which would be released on February 22, 2017. The group appointed Michael Simmons as Executive Director Corporate & Wholesale Australia on an interim basis after Matt Hollis’ departure. Vocus also made a binding agreement with Alcatel Submarine Networks (ASN), for building the Australia Singapore Cable (ASC). The ASC project is over 4,600km submarine cable system linking Australia to Singapore, and Indonesia. After Nextgen Networks acquisition, the group got Singapore IDA approval and renewed Landing Rights with MoCIT in Indonesia. ASC might take over 19 months to build, and is expected to finish by August 2018. The group believes that this ASC project would give them a competitive advantage while the project is forecasted to cost over US$170m over the build period.
· Recommendation: The shares of Vocus Group fell over 53.6% (as of February 08, 2017) in the last six months placing them at lucrative levels. The stock also has a good dividend yield and we recommend investors to “Buy” the stock at the current price of - $ 4.28
