DDR Details

Expanding the distribution relationships: Lately, Dicker Data has been appointed as Sole Citrix Reseller Distributor with distribution arrangement effective May 21, 2018, and aCommvault distributor in Australia, effective May 31, 2018. The objective of this new partnership between DDR and Commvault is to increase the sales in the mid-market and enterprise segments. These bestow a great amount of trust on DDR for its distribution business capabilities.

The Group has projected a revenue of $1.39 billion and a net profit before tax of $42.5m for FY18, with support from the recent Q1 FY18 result entailing 14.4% revenue growth and 22.8% profit before tax rise over prior corresponding quarter.

In line with previous financial year and to provide consistency and certainty for investors, the company proposed that each interim dividend for FY18 will be at an equal rate. Hence, the Board of Directors declared fully franked quarterly dividend of 4.40 cents per share which will be paid on June 01, 2018. This would bring total proposed dividend of 18 cents per share for full year, representing rise of 9.8% from the previous year. The company intends to continue to streamline its dividend payment policy by paying equal quarterly dividend instalments, subject to the company’s forecasted earning. Meanwhile, the stock price was up by 20.83 per cent in the past one year but down by 1.02 per cent in the past five days as at May 14, 2018. We maintain our “Hold” recommendation on the stock at the current market price of $ 2.93.
