On 23 January 2024, LPI updated regarding the proposed Scheme of Arrangement to acquire 100% of the issued shares in LPI by the Salar de Maricunga SpA (wholly owned subsidiary of Corporación Nacional del Cobre de Chile).
The scheme refers to the consideration of AU$0.57 per LPI share to be paid to shareholders, subject to court and other approval. LPI’s share price closed at AU$0.56 on 2 February 2024.
