Antipodes Global Investment Company Limited (ASX: APL) is an investment management company, which provides exposure to a high conviction portfolio of global investments to the shareholders.

Key Highlights:

• The company got delisted from the Australian Securities Exchange (ASX) with effect from 17^th December 2021. The said delisting follows the execution of the scheme of arrangement between APL and its shareholders.
• As per the scheme, the shareholders of the company have exchanged their shares for fully paid ordinary units Antipodes Global Shares (AGX1), which is an existing open-ended active ETF listed on ASX.
• The shareholders of APL have received 200 new AGX1 units in exchange for their 1,000 shares as a scheme consideration. This implies the consideration of 1 unit of AGX1 for every 5 shares held in APL by an investor.
• On 17 December 2021, 95,639,412 new AGX1 units were issued as scheme consideration, which commenced trading on 23 December 2021.
• On 8 December 2021, the securities of APL went under trading suspension as the Federal Court of Australia has approved the said scheme of arrangement.

Conclusion

Given the backdrop of delisting, APL is no longer trading on the ASX exchange. Therefore, the position on APL has been closed at the last traded price of $1.17 as on 8^th December 2021.
