Under the transaction, Fisker Inc will receive ~$1 billion in cash, resulting in a total pro forma equity value of approximately $2.9 billion. On 6 August 2020, the company released an update that stockholders approved an extension of the date to complete a business combination from 14 August 2020 to 14 February 2021.
