  • Weak performance by Parent company: Coca-Cola Amatil Ltd (ASX: CCL) stock plunged over 3.5% onApril 21, 2016 as the group’s parent company, The Coca-Cola Company reported poor quarterly results. On the other hand, CCL stock has been recovering over 8.4% in the last three months and we believe that CCL still has momentum in the long term.
  • Recommendation: We maintain our “BUY” recommendation on the stock at the current price of $8.50

  • Impact from  second-half 2016 costs: Newcrest Mining Limited (ASX: NCM) stock fell over 1.78% on April 21, 2016 due to gold prices on the back of sharp oil prices rally. Although NCM is placed among the lowest cost producers but market expects the second-half 2016 costs to go up for Gosowong operation given the restarting of production at Toguraci.
  • Recommendation: NCM rallied over 37.27% in the last three months (as of April 20, 2016) and we recommend a “Hold” on the stock at the current price of $17.69
