Key Risks:

  • Stiff Competition: The company operates in a very competitive environment; rising market share of the peers in the industry could impact its business performance.
  • Price Disruption: AML’s operational and financial performance could be affected by major volatility in the prices of the commodities in which the company deals.

Outlook:  Looking forward, AML’s priorities revolve around to advance Walford Creek towards the development of a world class base metals mine and to continue the exploration on priority exploration tenements.

Stock Recommendation: The stock of AML is trading near to its 52-week low level of $0.036, offering a decent opportunity for accumulation. The stock has been corrected by ~28.07% in the past three months. In addition, the stock is trading at a P/BV multiple of 0.6x as compared to the industry median (Basic Materials) of 2.5x on a TTM basis. Thus, it can be said that the stock is undervalued at the current trading levels. Considering valuation on a TTM basis, recent capital raising, optimistic outlook, current trading level and key risks associated with the business, we recommend a ‘Speculative Buy’ rating on the stock at the current market price of $0.040, as on 05 January 2022, 10:45 AM (GMT+10), Sydney, Eastern Australia.
