Evolution Energy Minerals Limited (ASX: EV1)

Having 100% interest in the Chilalo Project, EV1 is an exploration company. The Chilalo Project deals in coarse flake graphite. It holds a market capitalization of AUD 63.13 million as of 22nd December 2021.

Financial & Operational Updates As per the announcement dated 9th December 2021, its value engineering studies has been commenced and it is led by Michael Bourguignon (ex-Syrah Resources Project Manager). This will reduce the carbon footprint, improve the economics (improve NPV) and will help progressing towards construction decision by 2HFY22 at Chilalo Project, Tanzania. Besides, they are expecting lower strip ratio, reduction in mining costs and extended mine life with the increase in potential graphite deposits. On 2nd December 2021, it has appointed Ms Vickey Puncheon and Ms Mary Mwanjelwa as General Manager Corporate Services and as a Non-Executive Director for its subsidiary, Ngwena Tanzania Limited, respectively.

Technical Analysis: EV1 started trading on ASX on 16th November 2021 after an oversubscribed IPO of ~AUD 22 million. Due to its novice listing, the technical analysis is not valid.

Due to non-availability of company’s financials and lack of technical data, investing in this stock at such uncertain levels should be taken with calculated approach, hence a ‘Watch’ stance is suggested. The stock was analyzed as per the closing price of AUD 0.400 per share, up by ~2.564%, as of 22nd December 2021.
